This project brings a state of the art 1000 seat theatre with balcony to Florida’s west coast community. TSG Design Solutions, Inc. assisted with the design of the fully rigged fly tower and stage rigging system, portable orchestra acoustic shell, motorized orchestra pit lift, state of the art stage lighting system and Broadway style sound and video systems.

Built on the campus of the largest high school in Pinellas County, the Pinellas County Center for the Arts opened in 2005 to wide acclaim. Comprised of numerous practice rooms, recording studio, five theatres, an art department, music and dance studios, it’s clear that students have been given a gift for all seasons. Designed to encourage excellence, graduate student success includes: dance and theatre performances on Broadway; and music performances with national symphony orchestras.

This is a premiere public school with an arts-based curriculum in the state of Delaware. It was founded in 1992 by a group of parents seeking quality education in a motivating environment. Named after the American jazz icon, Cab Calloway, this school provides both academic and arts education for students in grades 6-12. The grand opening on October 9, 2014 was a huge success with a “Hard Hat Performance” featuring world-renowned child prodigy Ethan Bortnick and an opening act of Cab Calloway Musicians.

Benjamin Hall will be the home of the performing arts program that includes a concert band, a chorus, and a drama and dance program. This 850 seat theatre will has a 3,200 square foot stage, a counterweighted stage rigging system and fly house, an orchestra pit, and state of the art stage lighting, sound and video systems.

Founded in 1881, the Academy of the Holy Names is a Catholic school for boys and girls in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and an all-girls high school. The Academy is located on 19 acres fronting scenic Bayshore Boulevard, close to downtown Tampa and with easy access to major highways serving the suburban communities of the Tampa Bay area. TSG Design Solutions, Inc. worked with Harvard Jolly Architects on the theatre design, stage lighting and stage rigging.

TSG Design Solutions, Inc. worked with Mollol & Mollol Arquitectos SA on the new 500 seat fine arts center to built on the existing campus of the International School of Panana in Panama City, Panama. TSG Design Solutions, Inc. was commissioned to design the stage rigging and curtain system, the stage lighting system, and the portable orchestra pit riser system. We are also assisted the design team with catwalk layouts, control room locations and sizes, backstage support space layouts and traffic patterns, and loading and unloading areas.

The auditorium at Proctor High School first opened its doors in 1939 for students to enjoy the arts. But over the years equipment went out of date and the theatre fell in need of repairs. The seventy-five year old theatre was completely gutted and renovated with new theatre systems. After having been closed for so long, the new auditorium hosted its first high school concert in March, 2013 followed by a Drama Club production.

After a 2009 ground breaking ceremony, renovation of the oldest high school in Miami-Dade County was completed in 2014. In addition to a host of new classrooms, laboratories and a media center, the historic 1000 seat auditorium had undergone extensive renovation with new seating, stage curtains, lighting and audio systems, and a renovated counterweight stage rigging system.

The grand opening for the sound stage was December 2010. The five million dollar project has become the crowning jewel in the Florida motion picture industry joining the already existing 93,000 sq. ft. movie production complex on this unique charter high school campus.

This 22,000 SF performing arts academy addition to Boynton Beach High School includes the latest in technology for drama, dance, vocal, and band programs. The addition provides a black box theatre; two dance classrooms; a costume shop; and a vocal music suite that includes practice rooms, ensemble rooms, and a recording studio.

When classes began in the fall of 1970 at a small church in West Palm Beach, Florida, the student body was comprised of 196 students. Today, almost 3,000 alumni have earned diplomas from The King’s Academy. When the fine arts theatre is complete it will have a full fly tower with a counterweight stage rigging system, performance sound and video system and an Ethernet-based stage lighting system with LED and programmable moving light fixtures.

Located amidst a 35+ acre wooded campus, this 100,000 s.f. state-of-the-art fine arts complex holds two of the most popular performance spaces in the southeast. Founded in 1965, and with an enrollment of nearly 2,400 students, this nonsectarian pre-K through Grade 12 teaching facility has the distinction of having the Mosaic Theatre, a professional (Equity) Award Winning Theatre Company on campus that presents a myriad of thought provoking performances to enthusiastic audiences annually. TSG held acoustics, theatre consulting and system design responsibility for the performance and arts spaces throughout the facility including the larger 750-seat theatre, a black box theatre, music suites, drama studios, classrooms and art gallery.

Established in 1933 as a military school for Grade 7 – 12 boys, the Bolles School is now a nationally known coed boarding and day class educational institution with four campuses spread throughout the State of Florida. A new addition to the Bartram Campus is a 17,200 s.f. state-of-the-art facility which holds the Betsy Lovett Theatre, support spaces and art gallery. Completed in 2007, the Fine Arts Center is utilized by more than 80% of students presenting approximately 100 performances annually. Recently awarded the Excellence in Construction Eagle award by the First Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, TSG assisted architect, Richard Skinner & Associates with the theatre design, acoustics, stage rigging, lighting, audio/video and the portable acoustics shell design.

Glades Central Community High School in Belle Glade, Florida, serves and accommodates both the local student population and the community. In addition to state-of-the-art performance technologies, Glades Central is one of the few high schools in the nation that boasts a left-center-right cinema surround system and a full stage video playback system. The facility has a full stage working gridiron, a computerized stage lighting system, and an orchestra pit with a portable removable cover.
